a classic ham and cheese croissant, sometimes I'd buy one from a local patisserie and then take it home and either fry or scramble and egg and put it in the croissant. breakfast sandwiches are so good, really any egg breakfast sandwich

Simple pastrami sandwich is always good. Not sure why these are so popular in So Cal and NYC and basically no where else. Lack of Jews?

>> No.16979407

It's just a ton of meat with a bit of mustard and some bread. It's not more popular because it's about as basic as a sandwich can get.

I worked at Panera for 7 years beginning in 2009, I miss a lot of their items, especially being able to prepare it myself. Almost every sandwich was delicious, I'd get obsessed with one for weeks and then move to the next. Many of them I'll never have again and it saddens me. Salmon club, cranberry turkey (turkey meat [not processed turkey], garlic cream cheese, spinach, and cranberry sauce on ciabatta), pita sandwiches. I had a few creations of my own, best was steak, white cheddar and horse radish on a croissan, pressed. Likely the best sandwich I've had still to this day. I could go to a Panera now and order at least some of my old favorites but the quality and portions of ingredients have plummeted, and even if that weren't so, nobody would make the sandwich half as good as I did. I really wish everything didn't slowly get worse and worse and worse, nothing is exempt from that. Anyway next time I'm in my hometown I may go back to my old store and see if they'll let me behind the line for one last ride to flavortown. Thanks for reading my blog and thanks for reminding me of panera when it was still good.

I mean you can literally go to a good bakery or make your own. Baguettes ain't rocket surgery. I'm glad I grew up in the Ozarks and know about trad French cuisine more than your average burger but you guys are really milking this. It's so embarrassing when Americans see like a panini and are about to jerk off or something. It's literally just a grilled sammich.

I remember how delicious it was. I saved some of the containers I’ve been thinking about selling them on eBay but am not sure I want to part with them for sentimental reasons. I did have three but a couple years ago I played a joke on my brother and I put a burger in there on the hot side and lettuce and tomato on the cool side, and then I put it in a McDonalds bag and I went over to his house and told him that “the McDLT is back bro!” and he got all excited and drove over to McDonald’s and tried to order one. The teen kids in there had no idea what he wanted but the manager remembered it and told him the McDLT was discontinued in 1998. And he tried telling the guy that i had just bought one

I’ve had some good burgers in my time.

I love a good Swiss, melted Swiss cheese and mushrooms, roasted mushrooms, and caramelized onions on a burger.

That is hot stuff.

You can get that at a number of different places.
