I used to like gin, these days I don't anymore.
Whisky and rum are the best imho. Vodka is too easy to drink, grappa needs to be very well made or it's terrible, schnapps taste weirdly artificial to me, even the non american ones.

One time, I got this weird polish vodka at a bottle shop in Australia. It was dark and thick, kinda tasted like Jagermeister. It had a ship on the label. Never saw it again after, or that type of vodka for that matter. It was on clearance and the labels were old looking so I feel like they found a decade old crate in a warehouse and wanted to get rid of it. Tasted great.
