Jokes and tism Mre steve jokes aside. They're quite good and very filling. I buy them when I want something different to eat. I never really had them when I was in the military. We had snack bars and mess food. Lots of variety and not so bad on Amazon.

We don't use those anymore. We have MREs now. Some are okay, some are absolute garbage. Most things outside of the entrees either have terrible macros (overloaded with sugars and fats) or tastes like ass gravy. You can buy them online for like $15 a piece, or you can buy the whole box and try them out. They make for great camping trips. I steal them from my unit all the time and use them to go camping or sell them. Some of the good ones to look out for are Chili with Beans, Chili Macaroni, Chicken Chunks, Beef Stew, and Southwest Style Beef and Black Beans. Everything else ranges from kind of okay to barely edible.

I loved MREs back when I was in the marines. My favorite was chicken fajita. I also enjoyed just about all of the pasta entrees.

I also almost always traded for an veggie omelette if I had the chance. The omelette itself was fucking disgusting, but everything else in the MRE was fucking delicious.
