I'm going to cut the pumpkin into quarters, then put it in the pressure cooker with the rum. Haven't tried it before so I don't know how it will turn out, but I came up with the idea in a dream last night and want to see if it works.

Lmfao fuck yeah dude, definitely throw the pats and brown sugar in there too. Rummed pumpkin might be good.

You're gonna want some kind of fat, butter's good with squash, and then for spices with pumpkin I like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Brown sugar, maple syrup or molasses.

Wtf happens I'd you pressure cook booze?

Like, surely that must be dangerous somehow.

>> No.16677770

I think you definitely gotta add more than just rum to make it taste good but I need to know how this turns out please keep us updated.

Yea it uppers the boiling point, I mean that's the point of using a pressure cooker. As long as he has no open flames nearby when opening it, it should be fine.

My god, that's the best smell I've ever smelled. Exactly as you'd expect. Like a mix of rum and pumpkin pie, but less sweet.

Chicken or veggie broth with fresh sage and rosemary, finish with cream. Y9u probably don't need much more sugar unless that's what you want. I personally like savory pumpkin dishes

It's 1am here already, so I think I'll just use the boiling rum to make rum oats with pumpkin chunks. Then tomorrow I'll make pumpkin pasta and maybe some pie.
