Been making cold brew recently. I recommend it a lot. I did 80g coffee 6 cups of water. Put it in a big container covered in my fridge for 24 hrs. Then strained through sieve and cheesecloth.

I want to recommend this method because it’s so low tech and delicious. I think you could use coffee filters instead of cheesecloth. Or honestly just a sieve if you don’t mind it being a tiny bit gritty

I recommend

Lech! Cold brew shills again? Aren't you aware that letting coffee sit out like that oxidizes it and completely ruins what all true coffee aficionados love about actual good coffee and brewing methods? Come back after trying at least 50 different types of coffees and please make sure at least a handful are single tree expressions. God all these coffee plebs are so stupid. Why not spend some time actually developing your palette and maybe you could get where I am? I can tell you the altitude a bean was grown at withing 100 meters and easily tell you what country it was grown in! It's not hard just don't ruin the coffee by cold brewing it!

I get my coffee hand delivered by the farmers on a weekly basis. I bet my coffee is fresher than yours, actually I know it is.

As for that nice foam? Let me bestow some knowledge onto your tiny brain. That's called créma and you only get real créma from espresso using the freshest beans and only the best of technique. Maybe one day you'll get there.

Make sure the stove is hot before you put the pot on, try heating the water chamber with hot tap water first too so it doesn't cool down the boiling water you pour in. Otherwise check your grind size; if it's sour then it's too it needs to be ground finer, if it's too burnt then it needs to be ground coarser (to clarify what >>16670859 said).

Grind should be between table salt and white sugar.

Or just try different beans, different roasts. Generally though darker is better for moka pot.
