Are there any pumpkin beers worth trying other than pic related?

I just bought some today. Just opened one to try it out, just for you pal.

Haven't had a pumpkin beer in nearly 2 years, but it tastes like how I remember them tasting, which is liquified pumpkin pie. This Pumking is thick, though. Almost feels like a stout. Would recommend it.

So far this year i've tried Kentucky Pumpkin from Lexington and Great'er Pumpkin from Heavy Seas, and a few local brewery options. None have been any good so far.

Well that's because the pumpkin spice craze has warped people's perceptions of what pumpkin flavor actually is. A lot of people are unaware that "pumpkin" is not the same as "pumpkin spice" (ie Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, ginger)

Occasionally I have encountered beers that genuinely have pumpkin flavor, like pic related. Still not sure I'd recommend it though.

Bought a 12 pack variety box last year of Elysian Brewing pumpkin beers.

Night Owl and Great Pumpkin are fine.
The coffee and chocolate ones I couldn't even drink, had to pour them out which I never do with beer otherwise.

lolol, saved a couple bottles because I know you fags will shit your pants over them.

Here's their power ranking so far (what I've had) in order
>Pumpkin Kerfuffle - Prairie Artisan
>Jack-O - Samuel Adams
>Pumpkin Ale - Schlafly
>Pumpkin Barrel Ale - Alltech
>Pumpkinhead - Shipyard
>Punkin Ale - Dogfish Head
>Ichabod - New Holland
>The Fear - Flying Dog
>Smashed Pumpkin - Shipyard (they use whatever is leftover after Pumpkinhead
>Pumpkin Patch Ale - Rogue
That's just what I've had so far this season - and Schlafly's isn't usually that high up on the list but this year they did pretty damn good. Elysian, Avery, and Blue Moon's pumpkin ales are essentials to try by the way, of what's no on my list. I wouldn't put Prairie's so far up also, as it's a sour ale, but the toasted marshmallow they add to it is damn decent for something pumpkin but different.
