I think it's pretty good raw, fresh off the plant. But I doubt most people would agree. It's also great battered and fried, or pickled, or stewed, though if you don't like sliminess you probably won't like it stewed.

Get baby okra, not the large commonly sold type, look around and you'll find the smaller type. Think of baking chunks of different chicken parts in a tomato onion type sauce and baby okra, again don't do it with the big shit type okra commonly sold in US supermarkets, find the little small type.
