I would recommend making some Polish nalewka. Here's a recipe for a cherry nalewka (wisniowka). Get 5L of cherries, remove the seeds of half of them to still retain an almondy aftertaste (yes, it's cyanide. No, it's not enough to harm you unless you drink it all at once. By then you'd be dead from alcohol poisoning anyway). Mash the cherries up to release their juice and cover them in a thin layer of sugar, more or less depending on your desired sweetness. Wait a day or so for it all to dissolve. Then, you'll want to add the alcohol. You'll want 5L of 60%ABV min to 80%ABV max for 5L cherries. Any less and it won't absorb the taste of the cherries, any more and it will "burn" the flavour (literal translation from Polish, it's like if you were to pour spirit on a wound and it foams up- the exact same thing happens). Because of this you'll want to add some neutral spirit to the rum to increase the ABV to around 70%. In Poland it's usually vodka and spirit but it should work with shitty rum and spirit too. Pour it all into a container, seal it, let it age for a year. If you're confused then look up some other recipes for nalewka to reference off of.

With snus you get a strong release the first 15 minutes, then it tapers off. A portion snus can last from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on what you're doing and how much you're drinking. Lower extreme is when you're chugging beer, upper is when you're busy working.
