When I was bulking I would have two tuna salad sandwiches every day for lunch. Can of white tuna in water, drained, a good scoop of mayo, salt and pepper with a little cajun seasoning on white or wheat (whatever we had around). Good stuff. Every day for over 3 months. Never got old.

bruh I just moved away from St. Pete and I just fucking miss the cuban sandwiches. There was this place in Largo called Tia's Authentic Latin Food that had the best goddamn cuban I'd ever had. They slow roasted spanish pork and used that on their sandwiches instead of sliced. I dream about that cuban sandwich. There's a deli in St. Pete on US19 called Elias's Deli and they have the best regular deli sandwich I've ever had.

Not sandwich related, but did a dinner party with some friends where we cooked a lamb curry recipe from the 1950s straight out of Betty Crocker that called for chutney and mint jelly and a dozen other little sides and sauces like shredded coconut and golden raisins. It was... odd in the taste, but fun to try out something from the past like that. First time I ever ate chutney.
