I read this before seeing it's a fries-specific thread. I was going to say Burger King is a sleeper hit. Because they have great burgers. But their fries are fucking miserable! I've had them a handful of times at a location that was known to "over"cook them, and they were actually quite nice and crispy like that. But their standard procedure is horrible! It's the worst thing about them by far.

From the OP's picture? I'd probably grab a few of the FiveGuy's hoping they were fresh, some Popeye's and a curl of Arbyfry. No real losers (besides BK) but if cheese sauce was available, that krinklecut is primo, and you always ask for cheesefries extra crispy. Always.
