What's the best rice flour ratio for dango?
I'm using some random Vietnamese rice flour with mochiko + shiratamako. I like the texture and consistency- nice and soft but too plain

Japan is all style and no substance. This applies to their food, anime, movies, books; everything. Once you get over their aesthetics, if it ever appealed to you at all, you quickly realize there's nothing good with what they produce. Their food is bland as fuck. I think it's different from what I use in Japan, so I can't say for sure.

I prefer a higher percentage of mochiko.
You can use a variety of sauces.
Jam, cocoa, chocolate...
I also like the combination of whipped cream and anko.
