How do you even choose wine there's so many on them

>> No.16143762

Just choose a bottle. The clerk isn't going to make you deliver a five-point speech justifying your choice in wine. If you don't like it, try something different next time.

DuckDuckGo what food you're eating and what wine goes with it.

Find out if you like red vs white. Then find out whether you like dry or sweet wine. Then just try styles that fit what you like. Get boiled, frog.

Wine doesn’t actually taste that different. Buy anything in the 10 dollar range

>> No.16143818

Even alleged wine tasters can't tell the difference.

Merlot for sweetned and syrah for more dry taste.
And don't be faggy.
It depends on what you are eating.
Red wine with meant and poultry.
White wine with veggies, fish and any seafood.
Pink wine go well with sea food with less spiciness and desserts that are low on sugar.

Stupid asshole.

first you go by wine type (merlot, riesling, etc), then you literally just pick by wine brand based on what you like. dont listen to people who say MERLOTS ARE BEST DRANK WIF PORK or whatever. just drink a wine you like with whatever you like.

>>16143814
also this. there are some truly expensive wines that have a smoother palette, but thats all youre paying for and at the end of the day it doesnt matter.

- Tempranillo
- Sangiovese

White Wine

Dry means more alcoholic and the lower it goes the sweeter it tastes.
Only fags go for sweetened.

I buy whatever is cheapest. Beyond the type (merlot, cab, zinfandel, whatever) there is no significant difference you'd be able to appreciate one way or the other unless you make wine your whole personality

Why do you want to drink wine? To get lit? Just buy the boxed things and then mix it with lemonade or fruit juice. Won't even taste the wine.

This chart is incorrect. You can take any grape and make a dry or sweet style wine with it... Some varietals are better suited for this than others of course.
For example there are distinct classifications for the amount of residual sugar in german riesling wines from very little sugar all the way up to over 100 grams per liter.

you go tried and true tested brands like Stanley or Fruity Lexia
then you open the box
then you drink straight from the bag

You're a literal retard if you pay more than $9 for a gallon bag of wine
