Exactly what "problems" where created in this situation? If the restaurant was good you'll go back. If it wasn't, now you know. The entire idea behind free food promotions is that the places expect you to spend more money when you come. If the place isn't good you've wasted a single meal (if that).

vaccines work by introducing modified or dead virus or virus carcasses into your body so you immune system is able to produce antibodies in order to combat the virus as soon as it's introduce to the body, stopping an infection.

Keep in mind, the Coronavirus of today or Covid-19 is just the 2019 version. There are a lot of other Coronas out there, such as SARS, which is very similar, but not as severe. From my understanding, they already had something similar in the works, and previous research on other strands of Corona, that they then based the current vaccine off of. I’d do some research before not getting it just because they made it quickly. In fact the true Coronavirus name is SARS-CoV-2, meaning it is part of the SARS strand. SARS was a big problem around 2002, and has been researched ever since. A lot of illnesses are similar, so previous research on other respiratory diseases, that have high infection rates also help accelerate the process.

Google is free and easy to use, I’d recommended taking some time to read actual scientific data and scientific research on the matter, not the bullshit the media tries to feed people.

The Coronavirus was first discovered in the 1960s, presented first in animals. It has been researched veer since. In 2003 the Coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-1 popped up in the world, however it was on a much smaller scale. Mutated from a cell that infected some type of animal, most likely a bat or bird, it came from China and infected a few countries. Vaccination trails began on animals, based on protein cell research, but was never released due to the small scale and relatively quick disappearance of this strain. Research was stopped soon after on a vaccine, but study on the virus itself was reinforced. Then, in 2012 the Coronavirus known as MERS-CoV, popped up in the Middle East. It came from, you guessed it, bats and this time, camels. Once again, research was done on animals, but with MERS also being not as contagious, research on a vaccine stopped.

In November 2019 a new Coronavirus was discovered, SARS-CoV-2. Interestingly enough this also came from, bats, and has almost the exact same symptoms as SARS-CoV-1. Because you know, it’s the second round of it. Only this time it was highly infectious and mutated even faster than before.

With vaccine research done on animals for both SARS and MERS, clinical trials being done for SARS in Texas in 2007, effectively a vaccine existed, but not for this exact strain. Thus, taking 60 YEARS of research, two mostly finished vaccines, and previous knowledge of the first strand, they completed a vaccine. Clinical trials when well, with a 98% success rate, no deaths, and minimal side effects.

Science is built off of other science, and with the resources they have it’s entirely possible for a vaccine to have been created in a little over a year. In fact, they do it with the flu all the time. Did you think the flu shot is the same one every year? They have to have a new one, or a previously used one based on historical fluctuations of the virus based on research dating back to the 40s, and then use statistics to figure out which strand is most likely to happen said year, or if it might be a new one.

Oh for sure. I don't think mainstream media is completely trustworthy, but the main problem with it is the framing ratter than the facts, you can trust most news agencies with the pure facts, if not how they are framed.
Nothing changes the fact that, at least in the us, the vaccines were approved because of the emergency, I'm not saying the vaccine is ineffective but it wasn't rigorously tested as most other vaccines as it has been show to be flawed.

You're talking about vaccines that are being released FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY. I don't hang around sick people all day. I work from home instead of commuting to an office building downtown. I cook my own meals. Half of the stuff I buy has to be shipped to my house.
In other words, I don't have a legit reason to be vaxxed for anything.

I don't believe in shepherding stupid/poor people to make medical decisions for the wrong reasons.
It's not the big deal some people are making it out to be, but it's not exactly moral. It's patronizing to appeal to adults as if they were 5 years old. Give people the relevant information, without spinning it based on what you want to happen, and respect their right to decide for themselves no matter what you think of their choice or how retarded it is.

"A vaccine is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular infectious disease.[1] A vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism and is often made from weakened or killed forms of the microbe, its toxins, or one of its surface proteins. The agent stimulates the body's immune system to recognize the agent as a threat, destroy it, and to further recognize and destroy any of the microorganisms associated with that agent that it may encounter in the future."

>a vaccine typically
the word typically is relevant there as all but one covid vaccines work like that
then you're drawing the wrong conclusion that if a vaccine "works" then a subject can't test positive for a virus
as you wrote earlier a vaccine will make one's immune system produce antibodies, which will make it more efficient at fighting a virus (or bacteria or yada yada)
it will only make one's immune system more efficient though, which might not mean 100% efficient, so just as it happens with the flu vaccine you can get every year your immune system starts fighting the virus as soon as it enters the body, but if, because you're old or immuno-compromised or you're a genetic dead end, your immune system isn't very good then it will still take some time to eliminate the virus completely
before the virus has been completely eliminated it's still in your body doing its thing, so naturally you will test positive to a test that looks for covid RNA in your nose, even if the concentration is low enough that you barely get any symptom
if you don't have that much covid in your nose and you don't have any symptom it will be more unlikely for you to have a runny nose and cough in someone's face, and even if that happened it will be more unlikely for you to infect them as there's less covid in your snot
so again, you simply don't know how a vaccine works
please read the full wikipedia article on the topic before posting again, you'll be surprised how much more you can learn if you apply yourself and going a tiny bit more in depth instead of superficially looking for one single thing to prove a stranger wrong, learning nothing in the process

the virus isn't magically transmitted through ether or phlogiston between two people in the same room, it's transmitted when one's infected bodily fluid enters another's body
someone who's been vaccinated will both cough less and blow their nose less and so on, and have less covid bodies in their mouth, throat, nose... so their infected bodily fluids will be less contagious
so no anon, someone who tested positive after being vaccinated won't be a superspreader, despite coming into contact with many people

You can't look at it as someone being paid $20 an hour, but the difference they're being paid between unemployment and that job. I heard recently that people on unemployment are making the equivalent of 14~16 dollars an hour. Assuming it's the former, for a full time job you're making 6 dollars an hour difference from unemployment. 40 hours a week, 4 weeks a month, that's approx $960 a month before taxes.

Most of these people taking unemployment are not going to opt for a full time job over a paid vacation for an extra 1000 bucks a month. I know I wouldn't. If you gave me the option 5 years ago when I was working at a call center for 16 an hour, that I could make essentially 2 bucks less an hour and didn't have to work at all, I would have taken that in a heartbeat. Yeah, sounds like a sweet ass gig.

Here's a study which heavily indicates that the vaccine actually does work, and if you continue to look around in the "related articles" section of PubMed you'll find a whole lot more. At this point, it is pretty damn clear that the vaccine does it's job, even against shit like b.1.1.7
>might be dangerous
the article you link here doesn't even specifically say how it could be dangerous, it just vaguely poses the question. the only actually problems with the vaccine that are brought up are it's poor shelf stability and a fear that it might be ineffective when administered, which, once again, isn't actually the case. That article was put out back in November, before anyone had actually started deploying the vaccine in large numbers.

widespread use of leaky vaccines cause the virus to evolve to a more infectious and lethal form. the most infamous example is marek's disease in chickens, when it first hit it caused temporary paralysis. the vaccine that was developed didn't prevent the chickens from getting infected but it did prevent them getting a bad enough case to cause paralysis. within a few years of widespread vaccination marek's disease could infect an entire farm in days and had a mortality rate among unvaccinated chickens of 100%.

it's not an accident that we're seeing more infectious and more lethal variants of covid in recent months, that's the inevitable result of this vaccination craze. all these leaky covid vaccines are evolving this thing into a humanity-killing virus.

Yes, you can buy Regular and NPH insulins OTC at Walmart for under $100/vial (apprx 1 month supply). These insulins are about 100 years old, and while you may live, they require very intensive therapy with 5-10 injections per day and a very regimented lifestyle (or a very expensive insulin pump) to come anywhere close to adequate blood glucose control of the more modern analog insulin formulations from the late 1990's to early 2000's. These "new" 20+ year old analogs which are either very slow-release basal dose or fast-acting insulins which easily provide reasonable blood glucose control with minimal lifestyle regimens cost under $30/vial when they first hit the market, but now cost $300-400/vial, making an average monthly supply cost just shy of $1000. Granted that you could survive on the old stuff, you will not live as long. It will take years or decades off your life. The funny business is that these "new" analogs are essentially perfect, and they have expired patents, yet no generic is able to be manufactured for ((reasons)) and the retail prices have gone up far, far, far higher than the rate of inflation. These are essential medications, mind you, and not designer drugs. The big three: Eli Lily, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi have clearly colluded with each other to price fix these drugs. This, in combination with the abhorent medical insurance system in the US leaves millions of people with rent-on-life situations costing them upwards of $10,000 a year, even with "good" insurance. Imagine a middle-class lifestyle with an extra $10k expense. Imagine a working class lifestyle with an additional $10k expense. It's some seriously fucked up shit.

>all vaccines that get approved for use on humans are somehow botched
>but the ones I can think of were all from china
well anon, either go and research your claim to see if it's relevant to the discussion, aka if clinical trials in the west are historically unreliable, or don't post unverified claims at all
>you're too ideological to admit the left is wrong
whatever made you believe that, you're off
I'm not from the US and I don't believe any politician or political party adheres to any ideology beyond the hunger for power, and your assumption that someone must be a lib if they'll argue the vaccine is safe enough and worth taking is disconcerting, because it offers you a reason to dismiss anyone's claims on the grounds of them possibly coming from someone who votes for the other side, which has nothing to do with anyone's health

“The number of cases and deaths of the China Virus is far exaggerated in the United States because of @CDCgov’s ridiculous method of determination compared to other countries, many of whom report, purposely, very inaccurately and low. “When in doubt, call it Covid.” Fake News!” Fauci responds, “"The deaths are real deaths. sure. We didn't need a vaccine to protect against a virus that didn't exist in the first place. The most reasonable response would have been to have restaurant owners to continue business as usual as there was no threat to anyone by doing so. Anyone who says otherwise is a authoritarian commie hack that needs to be burned at a stake.

coronavirus hysteria was a great big overblown hoax to get Trump out of office. as soon as biden got into office they started dialing things back immediately, but now they have to keep up the charade and force this placebo vaccine that doesn't do anything.
