I know this is rhetorical: you could if you want to go over the many nuances of tea from variety, preparation methods, and presentation. Tea ceremony in japan for matcha is all about exact procedural execution of many little steps.

I wish this was a joke. My grandparents and parents used to run a bakery in South Korea. I was honestly taught this weird and complicated way to make cakes. One of the things was how our emotions will determine what the cake taste like. I ended up working at a grocery store bakery when I lived in America and no one gave two shits about what their cakes tasted like. You were just expected to shit out a certain amount in a time frame.
