Depends on the mood. Generally it's a chore. Maybe a few times a week I'll get really into a recipe and have a fun time. Still, it boils down to a huge amount of time and effort for 15 minutes of eating, then cleaning up. If they invented a pill I could take 3 times a day and get all the nutrients and calories I need, I would take it often.

I think when I was younger and barely had money food was everything to me. I savored everything. Now I have money and have no financial worries I definitely only eat for fuel now. Most times now I even have to push myself to eat which usually results in a bowl of ramen and 2 eggs at 9pm

I ordered some taco bell today. I'd been really wanting their chicken quesadilla. I never get it because $4.29 for a single item is just ridiculous.
I got home and realized my real mistake though I forgot to get any sauce, so I had to use cholula which just isn't the same. At least after learning to add red sauce and order like tb anon, so it was pretty good anyway.

I've been saying this forever. I have around 400 packs of surplus fire sauce, but wouldn't use it for anything other than Taco Bell. I also have half a dozen bottles of hot sauce at any give time, but none of them work with Taco Bell. I actually went a little further off book tonight, and got a Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, and just on a whim asked for some Diablo in addition to my usual Fire. I added onions and green sauce to the crunchwrap, and have to admit, this is the first time I've enjoyed Diablo. It actually works quite well with the black beans and green sauce, and the Fire was the weak link.

I'm still kind of surprised at how good Del Taco is. While Taco Bell is, through-and-through, a fast food restaurant pretending to be Tex-Mex, Del Taco is a taqueria pretending to be fast food - by which I mean, the complexity and depth of flavors is miles beyond anything Taco Bell does. There's something special about Taco Bell, on a pure, visceral, drunken sloppa kind of level. But Del Taco honestly makes better tasting food, and I've never even tried putting Taco Bell sauce on any of their items. (Half of their items don't even need extra sauce.) That said, if Taco Bell came out with a Del Scorcho clone their profits would soar through the roofs faster than any FOTM gimmick.

I only get taco bell once every month or two so I don't keep a huge stash of the sauce around. I normally just throw out what I don't use. Maybe I'll save a handful the next time I order
