While most McDonalds offerings are represented in other chains, the McDonalds variant usually has a noticeably processed-yet-satisfying taste that makes it distinct from both domestic and other fast food variants. For example, the McDonalds sandwiches are noticeably sweeter than other burgers.
In this regards, the McFish is nearly unexceptional from what one could prepare at home with frozen breaded fish. There is no stand-out, unique taste to it.
