It's real cheap, $16 for 4.5L. I can speak for Merlot but Sangria doesn't taste as terrible as other cheap wines.

The only ones I like are the Pisano and the Lambrusco. Average, cheap, table wine. Good for everyday use, but nothing special. Do NOT use it as a party wine to get drunk on. Don't ask me how I know.

It can be any number of red wines as your base though, including merlot.

dont buy this. the first time I saw someone purchase this was when I was living in a mexican hood in the san fernando valley, and it was a very overweight white woman standing in line in front of me in an albertsons. she also grabbed a twix bar once it was her turn at the register.
the wine tastes terrible. you get more ethanol per dollar if you buy the double IPA 6pack from trader joes, and it tastes a lot better than carlo rossi fermented capri sun.
