Last one I had I found while walking to a duck blind in late fall. I can still taste it and there's a primal satisfaction to eating some fruit you found while hunting. No matter how good the fruit I get from the store is, it just can't compare to biting into that ripe persimmon on that cold morning at the edge of some woods next to a marsh.
