Last Summer, winter salads suck and if you try to make a summer salad off season it's bland.

Many conservatards consider it gay to eat salads and call salad rabbit food

No we have seasons and you're off by quite a bit.
Only the most grotesque of palate will eat out of season.

I order a nice salad every time I treat my loved ones to a nice meal from Jet's Pizza. Now, some might say "why would you spend money on a salad, it's a rip off, you could just make it for cheaper" well that may be but you know what, no expense is spared when you hang out with me. Money may not grow in trees but it floats with the breeze.

Yeah, nah
>but you can just add stuff to make it taste better, like meat, breadcrumbs, nuts, etc
Or i could just eat the flavor enhancers without playing operation to get to the good stuff

i make a greek salad most every day, easiest way for me to get my veggies in

I don’t eat it often because I don’t seem to digest it.
I always shit out literal visually-recognizable leaves, which don’t appear to have broken down any further after I chewed them.

And I fucking hate that, because I love a good Caesar. There’s an awesome Italian joint near me where an 300yo looking Italian guy in a suit makes the Caesar dressing to-order tableside. I love the reactions from people who had no idea anchovy is part of Caesar dressing.
They’ll sometimes ask “um, can we have ours without the anchovy?”
And the old guy replies in a thick accent “No. you cannot have Caesar without anchovy” and continues making it.

But yeah, I shit leaves.

What kind of meal is this? Im extra interested in the paprikas, they remind me of a great tapas I had once, and overall it looks very tasty.
Cheers to the chef

Whoa, dope. That sounds like a nice time at a restaurant. I love Caesar salad. Top tier Mexican food.

Also, see a doctor and nutritionist about your digestion problem

I see my doc regularly for routine stuff.
No idea what the deal is. I have no other food related issues, and it really only happens with iceberg and romaine (which is the vast majority of restaurant salads).
I’m fine with other stuff; spinach, cabbage, “greens”, etc.

I don't know what ingredients in salads you would use those for besides cheese. I'd raher get a mandoline.

>> No.15689918

lettuce? carrots?
isnt that mandoline thing just the same but with 1 side? should i just use a knife?

>> No.15689939

>>15689918
Graters tend to rip things apart. Resulting in everything losing it's texture and moisture/water. A mandoline cuts things like knives, but always in the exactly same height while being faster than a human with a knife.
