i thought i was a very picky eater but since i moved out and have cooked some basic meals i just realised my parents were fucking terrible at cooking and that gives me so much motivation to cook tasty shit. i can make some basic meals like spaghetti, chicken, potatoes, eggs and stuff like that but there are so many other meals to cook and i wanted to learn if i can cook something different with simple ingredient.

Look up Serious Eats on Google. They have a lot of beginner recipes and techniques in text and video.

Laura in the Kitchen with Laura Vitale is a good channel for learning how to cook on youtube, or Food WIshes with Chef John (if you can stand the way he talks). Jamie Oliver also has a special behinner section on his homepage, and he and Gordon Ramsay also have a bunch of videos for beginners up on youtube.

My go to for videos in the Cooking with Jack Show. His genius cannot be matched.
