What’s everyone been cooking this week? I made some pickled eggs and beets ( 1st time) a few days ago for salads. Not really sure what else to do with them but they turned out really good. I tried one today, they need to sit a while longer. Also made some bomb ass Sausage and brisket “kolaches” from a few leftovers and a random can of crescent rolls with some zucchini cakes on the side. Been cooking on the cheap here lately and utilizing all my leftovers in some form.

I'm curious about this pickled eggs and beats trend I keep seeing the past few weeks here. Anyway I just cooked fried rice with onion, cabbage, broccoli stems, egg, and discount aisle beef. I still have half a cabbage left over and was thinking of pickling it. Any suggested pickling ingredients?
