One time a guy told me that plastic bottles have microplastics in them that make you retarded when you drink water, was he just a schizo? I've been drinking water from cups ever since he said that but it's a pain in the ass to clean a cup every time I want to drink water

should I buy one of those wood bottles then? or whatever other materials exist
>>15475632
the cups go on a "closet" and dust falls into it and my mom doesn't like putting the cups anywhere else so I always clean them before drinking stuff to not eat the dust

Don’t forget, cans too, they’re probably even worse, it’s a thin layer heat wrapped on, so basically the perfect BPA delivery method.

They are, but a lot of things can happen to your tap water before it's ready for you to drink it.
Glass or food grade stainless steel would be ideal. Ceramic is almost as bad as plastic. "BPA Free" doesn't matter because it's part of a large family of compounds that behave the same way that consumers don't know about yet.
Since you seem to care about water, consider investing in a gravity filter. It's the most convenient solution for home IMO and keeps the minerals which is needed for making coffee and other stuff.

The only insufferable homo here is the one who drinks all my water because his dumbass refuses to bring his own bottle
