-kimchi bibim guksu

That's debatable which one is the most well known. Yetnaltongdalk, which I just posted, is the original Korean fried chicken.
None of those dishes I listed use gochujang. You use gochugaru, not gochujang. The recipes call for gochugaru and not gochujang unless you're talking about some jank ass English recipe. The only reason you'd use gochujang in, say, budaejjigae, is because you don't know better.
Here, let me prove it:
https://namu.wiki/w/%EB%B6%80%EB%8C%80%EC%B0%8C%EA%B0%9C
>양념은 고추가루 2큰술, 간장 1큰술, 다진 마늘, 다진 파, 다진 생강을 인원수대로 늘리면 된다. 고추장을 넣으면 텁텁한 맛이 나니까 넣지 않는다.
Translation
>Seasoning can be increased by adding 2 tablespoons of red pepper powder (gochugaru), 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and minced ginger. Do not add red pepper paste (gochujang) because it tastes thick.
Now you know better. Cook correctly.
