All cooking shows suck big time and don't represent the real kitchen routine, because it's what it is, a routine. I've tried watching a handful of those mentioned at /ck/ and /tv/ and they all are much more shows and much less of what professional cooking is. I didn't expect much from the one with Marco Pierre White but even that one sucked.
