Make your own Sambal oelek.
Not really a sauce, more of a paste, but can be used mostly everywhere you can use a hot sauce. And is fucking easy. Grind fresh chillies with salt, vinegar and oil. Put in jars, optionally pasteurize if you want to store it longer.

That's basically how they make tabasco. The entire process is way more finnicky (mash peppers with salt until it turns into a paste, age it in whiskey barrels, strain it, mix it with vinegar), but this gets really close.
