When you are cookies vegtables or meat, pieces that brown stick to the bottom and sink under the oil, this creates a thick area of concentrated maillard browning. i'm here to shill the Dawn twister bottle brush for this very purpose. it has a spring in it so when you push the handle down it spins. literally don't even need soap or any detergent of any kind. i just turn the water on and start plunging. you could have the whitest cup with the worst coffee stains, it'll get it clean and white in like 1 min of brushing. you can also use it on basically any dish that has stubborn buildup.

the older ones tended to break after a while (after which they just become normal brushes,) but i bought a new one and it's subtly sturdier and hasn't broken yet. it's a staple tool in my kitchen. recommend it.

Ironically, a thread about cleaning stains from enamel has shown just how many people on /ck/ can't cook. Enamel staining is normal when searing and creating fonds. Anyone who says you're burning your food because a stain is present is a flyover gaslighting shill who has never cooked properly in their life.
