This is such a poor people mentality. $20 is $20 and isn't nothing. Considering the cost of $20 before spending it is how wealthy people get wealthy, it's not a waste of mental energy.

Probably some reward scheme thing. For example, Tesco have this thing called a clubcard, and every time you shop there you scan the card and it'll add points onto it. The amount of points depends on how much you spend, and those points can then become vouchers and sich and you save a few pennies on the next shop.

It's a new form of "based" and "redpilled". I think it originated in /biz/ with something to do with locking in profits, but it could also be about trannies and politics shit like eating the bugs and all that. Why it would be lock and key I don't know but it probably has something to do with prison. Keyed also means scratching something with a key, like a car

Basically burrito was like $6, then add $5.30 for carne asada, $2.65 for extra meat (chicken), and $1.45 for the queso. Then $3 for delivery and $3 service charge. Yes I have regrets

>> No.15351200

>>15348601
holy shit, an extra 5.30 for carne asada? You asked for extra portion? Let me teach you how to Chipotle. The carne is good but if you didn't pick the extra portion, the additional carne charge would only be like $2-3. You didn't need the extra portion anyways, that's why they double wrapped your burrito too. Chipotle almost always gives monster servings and if the burrito wasn't enough without the extra portion, you should've got the the bowl with tortilla on the side. If you choose chicken, didn't take the extra portion, and still got the queso, that meal would've only been like $10 or less if you picked it up yourself instead of delivery. Good on ya for the queso though, everyone picks guac but guac is overrated and Chipotle's queso is actually good.

t. am Chipotle's delivery bitch

It's the same as the cilantro white rice but with cauliflower and an advertisement campaign. They know their primary audience are white "health conscious" yuppies who prioritize their time and money but opt out of unhealthier options so Chipotle hits that spot and you have to give it to Chipotle for running a relatively healthy fast food chain that isn't too expensive (if you're not retarded and choose every additional option like OP) From my experience with giant fast food/fast casual chains, they add new items to excite their customer base when business is struggling and the past year was hard on everyone

That's true, I never thought about talking about that aspect of it. I guess they take it all into account, tally it ul or something and use that info for new deal, promotions and such. It's good in that sense, and I'm not too fussed about them checking my shopping habits, I already have a phone contract with them so I cant really give them much more data. That's exactly what they do to predict how much of X stock is needed for Y timeframe. With good enough numbers, their corporate bean counters can also convince other corporate bean counters to run better contracts for lower prices and more stock
>It's still bad practice though, because that data will end up being sold.
Welcome to the future, where those corporate bean counters have figured out how much "rewards" is enough to not dip into their data exchange profits. Something all those companies have downplayed is how valuable accurate shopping trend data is to their profit margins. Of course, if more people knew how valuable it really is, they wouldn't be as free in giving out their statistics.
