Probably. Marco made him fall to his knees and cry like a little whipped biatch. He's suffered from an inferiority complex ever since which is why he throws screaming temper tantrums fits if he thinks his target will put up with it w/o slapping his face.

That's the point with all of his mistakes. I think he doesn't know any better. He just says 'ultimate" and he's done.

>How did he get 15 Michelin stars?
Who really knows the truth, since many reviewers have come forward about how rotten the company is behind the scenes. Money and/or favors may have changed hands.
Most restaurants have teamwork too, but he's for certain a hack. His instincts seem really off in every demonstration video, like you can count on it.

I made Ramsay scrambled eggs for my family two years ago on Thanksgiving, the kind with butter and creme fraiche that speads nicely on toast. Grandma hated it. Everone else tried it but only one person actually liked it. Also made Ramsay's burgers from Kitchen Nightmares that had red onion and dijon mustard in it. Wasn't received well either.

The man may be a michelin-starred chef, but his recipes are always up to par.

you need to understand and cook for your audience. ramsay cooks for elitist, rich food snobs. those people value unique and somewhat "out there" dishes. normal folks want more normal fair. they don't want Herb Crusted Loin of Lamb with Farrotto, Medjool Dates and Orange-Saffron Glazed Rainbow Carrots, they want a good pot roast.

Yes. Tipping in the UK is not mandatory and if there's a service charges you don't tip at all. Neither do you tip in pubs or bars. But if the service is good, people may leave a few extra pounds as a tip. I also tip my barber a pound or two extra but that's more just custom than anything.

In US I had a waiter come back to my table to ask for a bigger tip because I only gave him 10%. Never happened in any other country

>> No.15340919

>>15340855
I had a relative that went to the US that relayed a story about how he went to a restaurant and the service was fucking awful. The waiters didn't listen and the meals were mixed up or just straight up wrong, staff were rude as fuck, even after asking them several times for drinks they just kept not doing shit. So when it came time for the bill him and his friends didn't tip. Apparently that is considered like, a fucking crime there and the restaurant kept insisting they needed to tip while the wait staff gathered in a group and gave them the death stare when they said no.
I genuinely don't understand tipping culture

Tipping in the UK is usually out of convenience. If the bill comes to £37, you'd throw down £40 and just leave the change. It's unusual for people to leave exactly 15% (or however much is deemed acceptable).
