Femmly reminder that meat is disgusting and repulsive- vegetables or non-meat animal products should account for 90% of your daily intake.

But don't worry, there's plenty of delicious, mouth watering vegetable cuisines :)

Wouldn't you love to snack on this pasta salad with a nice bitter Ito-En green tea?

Unironically agree with the exception of the occasional seafood dish.
Legume-based protein & complex carbs are convenient, versatile, cheap, and delicious.

These are merely vegetarian products meant to emulate meat. And that's why they appear unappetizing and can be seen as a joke. But there's no need to do that- theres plenty of delicious seafood, and it's not like you can't eat meat at all. I'm just speaking out against the meat-focused barbarians that seem to plague this board.

I raise and slaughter my own livestock for food. I also grow my own crops.
Seafood is challenging and something I cannot feel comfortable consuming regularly until my spring fed pond is built and adequately stocked, and even then the fish will not feed me as much as the animals I am raising now.

I do not understand the glorification of seafood when there are a lot of issues with unsustainable fishing practices and unethical fish farming. It pisses me off when bigoted livestock abolitionists affiliate all people who refuse to demonize meat eating as fast food swill inhaling gluttons who don't care about where their food comes from.

Do the world a favor and stop making your stupid vegan threads on 4 chan. Reddit has a huge vegan community that will circle jerk you as much as you want.

Dude, if you have a good spring you might be able to raise trout in it, had a gf once who had an Uncle who had a small spring so in a nice shaded spot right next to his house he built a concrete tub in the middle of the spring that was about 4-5'x2-3'x10-12' that he stocked with rainbows. Any time he wanted fresh fish he just took a net and scooped out a couple.

Yeah I haven't thought about what kind of fish. I hear tilapia are pretty hardy but trout might be pretty good too. I'll keep that in mind :)

Prob trout if you are able to do something in stream in shade preferably as they need cooler water and tilapia in pond, maybe some bass too if it's big enough, although idk if the bass would just eat all the tilapia or something. I don't recall if gf uncle started at the spring mouth or what, otherwise idk how he kept the tub from filling up with silt. Not much of a fisherman myself but I bet you could get some pretty good recs on fish from /outdoors/

Not him but not everybody on 4chan a helpless faggot like you. I don't raise my own livestock but I hunt every meat imaginable, do various types of fishing, forage, and grow herbs and a few choice vegetables. I get my day to day dairy(milk, cream, butter, some cheeses) from a small local farm. I will be getting my own bees for honey this coming year if all goes well. You should reevaluate your pathetic life and stop projecting

Goddamn I want an apiary, too bad they're hundreds of bucks. I wouldn't even take much honey, just a little comb, so the bees wouldn't need to be fed sugar water or hfcs or whatever, just pure nectar. Good luck anon

MOST of my diet is vegetarian-only for health reasons. The only meat I eat is chicken, turkey, or fish, usually once or twice a week, or less.

I have to say that vegetarian meat-substitutes aren't anywhere near as bad as they used to be. There's obviously been a lot of development in making them actually TASTE good and taste LIKE meat.
