Idk what it is called but following recipe creates the actual BEST sandwich:
>Fresh or baked frozen baguette
>cut in half horizontally and put in oven, turning the insides a little crispy
>sauté the following ingredients in heavily buttered pan in this order, adding the ingredients up:
>thinly sliced red bell pepper
>big white onion
>7 oz of pre sliced ham cut into small squares
>finish off with chopped fresh parsley
>put content of the pan on one half of the baguette
>top that half with 4 slices of povolone and 4 slices of cheddar
>put under grill until cheese melts
>top with other half
>cut baguette in half to share with friends/if you are not fat (this point is not relevant for you)
