>Spinoza
"it is plain that the law against the slaughtering of animals is founded rather on vain superstition and womanish pity than on sound reason. The rational quest of what is useful to us further teaches us the necessity of associating ourselves with our fellow men, but not with beasts, or things, whose nature is different from our own; we have the same rights in respect to them as they have in respect to us. Nay, as everyone's right is defined by his virtue, or power, men have far greater rights over beasts than beasts have over men. Still I do not deny that beasts feel: what I deny is, that we may not consult our own advantage and use them as we please, treating them in the way which best suits us; for their nature is not like ours, and their emotions are naturally different from human emotions."

The same way they celebrate everything, with homosexuality and godless communism.

>> No.15265367

Of course they don’t celebrate. Veganism is peak miserable subversive degeneracy. There’s a reason most of them are also homosexuals getting sucking and getting fucked by dicks in the ass.

I don't really celebrate it as such, but I had a vegan roast with mashed potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, lingonberry jam, and mushroom gravy.

How about you, friend? How did you celebrate?

My moms vegan and had some strange plant based roast that came in a box, stuffed with wild rice instead of stuffing. It looked gross but she claimed to enjoy it

>it's okay to do whatever you want to an animal because they are an animal
Weak to zero actual rationale here, I'm not convinced. He criticizes womanish pitiers for not having sound reason for their laws, but offers no sound reasons of his own, just a contradictory opinion.

Anyway, my question is whether there exist people who are vegan who would still eagerly celebrate/support Thanksgiving on an ideological basis. In other words, is it false that 100% of vegans are people who reject Thanksgiving because they believe it is an evil symbol of Native American oppression? If not, then the matter of eating a turkey is secondary.
