Ribeye was on sale here this week, seared it in the pan and finished in the oven.

>> No.15248632

I like a good rib roast, but from an audience perspective it's really just a heat and serve dish. Especially with a probe thermometer. the "work" is salting it early and letting it "dry" in the fridge for at least a few days. Which you didn't do.

I’m doing at reverse sear. It’s in the oven at 250° F. I’m gonna take it out, heat the oven to 500° convection, and blast it for a few minutes at the end.

I did an English cut, it wouldn’t fit on me mum’s small plates.

Anyways family loved it. Everyone got up and got seconds and the Yorkie got some rib meat, which she was oh so excited for

Based Smith's bro. I'm getting one soon to make a Christmas for me and my kid when she comes to visit.
How long will that hold up in the fridge before it goes bad, and do you have a recipe recommendation?
I'm not a very good cook and I want to get this one right for sure.
I'll even go as far as to give you an image of my soon to be wife for your recommendation.
