It is, though, because it is honest. You can always tell a newfriend because they get upset when people actually criticize their food and tell them things they could have done differently, as though that's /ck/ being "so mean". That was also the biggest problem with the cat blog. Not only did it try to turn OC into a containment thread, but it was basically a circlejerk and a safespace. Nobody actually talked about the food; it was just, "that looks great!" replied to every post. Seriously, go back to fucking reddit if you just want blind positive reinforcement. This is a food and cooking board and we're going to actually talk about the food, not just give you an ego boost for actually cooking for once.
