I had a daddy long-legs trapped in the top part of my grill while I was preheating it and ate it after it got toasted, tastes like almonds. I also eat the bees that get trapped in my honey and drown, little honey covered pine nuts.

I've had crickets and silkworm pupae. Got the crickets stuck in my teeth. Tried silkworm repeatedly, including cooking them myself several times. Tried toasting the fuck out them. I still found the texture and flavor to be unpleasant. Not disgusting, just not good either. I'd eat it if I were offered it or I had to, but to say "it tastes like...", no it has it's own taste and I didn't care for it despite trying it over 10 times to make sure.
