For all the advancements in cultivated fruit, the absolute precise second that the seedless pomegranate makes it to market is the day the fruit revolution will forever and always be won.

Too many goddamn seeds. When are scientist going to breed a pomegranate tree that are seedless or have the fruit be like an avocado where it's one big seed surrounded by fruity goodness?

my fiance's dad has a tree that always grows big n juicy ones. he usually makes wine out of the excess pomegranates. he gave me a few fresh ones a couple weeks ago, they were great

they won't be able to make them seedless, the best bet would be to try to make the seeds smaller
but if you get rid of the seeds, the red flesh won't have any genetic indicator on where to grow
IIRC, there really aren't any seedless arils in normal pomegranates so its hard to breed for a trait that doesn't exist
