It really is amazing how hot tempered they get. When I visited Texas, not a day passed without some angry man in a cowboy hat screaming "BEANER!" at an innocent stranger. And it's more than a slur. I started to notice that the victims of such abuse were usually poor folks looking for work, a segregated underclass, discriminated against in all aspects of Texan life. And why? Simply because they put beans I'm their chili.

Just a guess but it could be possible that because of its size and diversity Texas struggles with having a unified identity especially when not much difference exists between their food culture and their neighboring states. So they find it easier to take an arbitrary stand on a not paticularly important point in order to "feel" more Texan. Just a guess.

Listen here motherfucker I am so FUCKING tired of hearing this “Spicy Ketchup is Betterrrre!!!!! Yeeehawww” bullshit. I have head this repeated so many fucking times it’s tiring. They just added jalapeños, that’s it. Whataburger ketchup however is the best ketchup out of any other fast food chain. The original has a sweet and tangy flavor paired with their fries that no other fast food joint has ever been able to match.
