People must have noticed by now that this expression is hated and ridiculed constantly online.
Why are they still doing it? It's not like they can't just smile normally and move on with their lives. People wouldn't call them out on NOT making that face if they stopped.
And yes, fake fried chicken is pretty good, but it's not fried chicken. You can bread and fry an old shoe and make it tasty, so I really don't see why they even insist on marketing it using meat names.

Chicken is one meat I would prefer fake. Even that shit at Subway which is 80% made of cardboard tastes better than the real thing.

I’ve never had any of these ‘beyond’ or ‘impossible’ food items, but I hear they actually taste pretty good; not that I’d ever consider replacing my meat intake with this though.

Some of it is obviously as a joke.
