The only people I've noticed that almost go out of their way to not eat the crusts are far from fat, it's kind of fascinating to witness but personally I eat some and leave some depending on what I feel like

I always get some extra marinara or garlic butter to dip the crusts in.

Obviously some sauce on the side is a good choice to dip leftover pizza crusts into, but I have discovered I prefer doing something else with them without using sauce.

Why don't people eat the crust? The caramelised edges are one of the nicest parts. If you don't care about the base why the hell are you eating pizza? I tend to avoid it if the bread isn't delicious even on its own because otherwise pizza is just max fatty. Who wants half a lb of unpalatable bread just for the chance to eat cheese and sauce?
