Restaurant idea:

Burger joint. But the burgers aren't stacked 10 feet high with toppings. Instead, the burger is distilled down to the very essence of burger: bun, patty, couple of slices of pickles, some diced onions, and a slight drizzle of your choice of ketchup, mustard, and/or mayo. Slice of cheese if you'd like

Fries are thinly sliced like you'd get at Freddy's or Steak and Shake, or you can do onion rings.

Drinks are sodas, iced tea, and milkshakes

pic is example

there's a restaurant in calgary that's pretty much this

I don't think this is a particularly innovative idea

every good burger place already has a "carne asada" option that focus's on doing the brass tacks right

sometimes they even keep the onions, pickles, and sauce and just have Kobe or Wagyu beeef

op here

I'm hungover from binge watching election coverage while drinking all night. Just a plain ass burger sounds so good right now. Like a McDonalds dollar burger but perhaps with higher quality meat and maybe a slightly thicker patty

so early mcdonalds, but with onion rings?

It's funny, when you started on the burger, I was going to exactly mention Freddy's, but then you said it yourself, so I don't know what you're looking for. It's just a bun, the burger, and mustard, and one of the best burgers I've ever had. That's pretty fucking "distilled".

Burger Inn?

I had no clue we needed a burger joint that specifies in a type of burger you could ask for at any existing burger joint now

>> No.15008204

Already exists in Ireland, and is pretty good.

You got my vote if you have an option for a combined side of fries and onion rings

Pretty sure every burger joint has this option

There's a place like that in San Antonio called Hometown Burger. The patties aren't seasoned at all, the toppings are cheap and generic, the shakes are small but very expensive, and the service sucks ass. I went when they weren't very busy and it took me 45 minutes to get a single burger and an iced tea. And yes, it took them 45 minutes to get me the iced tea.

there's a chain that does this already in the south called Cook Out. They also sell hotdogs and quesadillas and chicken and a billion other things. Their burgers are OK but their onion rings are awesome

Dyer’s Burger in Memphis is exactly that. There’s nothing new under the sun or on the grill.

This.
That's why all the stupid new restaurants are just garbage meme foods. They know they can't really make anything good so they just make it so over the top and hope they'll get instagram exposure...

>Slice of cheese if you'd like
You'll get more business if you use a cheese sauce.
A colby-swiss (emmental) would be pretty good.

How new and original. You should definitely pursue this idea because nowhere in the world can you find something like this.
