Preparing your grain bin for the season requires maintenance, updates, and, above all, a clean bin. Completely cleaning out the storage system to get rid of any grain that may be infected with insects or moisture can save the entire new crop going in. This requires a complete and thorough evaluation of the bins from the top down.

The smell of rotting soybeans has been forever ingrained in my mind. It's this buttery, rancid, horrendous smell. And the rats! Oh the rats at elevators!

I dont think most you understand the importance +cost of grain drying.
Let's say its feed corn for hogs.
You have spend prob couple thousand dry it 100%.
You cant get mold in it.
Well there hogs you say what's little mold going matter?
That will make them sick+possibly kill them.

Drying grain can be a very energy-intensive operation on the farm because burning fuel to produce energy, also burns money. At the same time, it's important to keep the crop at the desired moisture for prime long-term grain storage.

They just mix the bad corn with the good corn. None of it gets thrown out. NONE OF IT.

If you're talking about drying corn, then we probably wouldn't starve if your farm or 10 farms like yours disappeared

You grow food for our food and it's not even good food for our food, cows literally get so sick because of corn that we're running out of anti-biotics
