i've only eaten at these like 5-10 times in my life. in the past 10 years i've come to not like being around people, so i've avoided them, but i hope one day i'll be confident enough with my appearance to have mcdonalds in a nice, comfy air conditioned food court mall once again.

All of the little Caesars by me have abandoned the little Caesars name and reopened as generic pizza places that clearly sell the same food as little Caesars. This happening to anyone else?

The only way malls in urban areas are coming back is if they go members-only.

Good riddance to mall food courts. You like eating sub-par food at a filthy table surrounded by screaming children, neglectful single mothers, bratty teenagers, and drug dealing Hispanics/basketball-americans?

When I went to the UAE they freaking loved malls, it was truly bizarre. I like 80% blame it on them not having addresses so it's a pain to deliver things

i went to manila last year and their huge-ass malls are packed EVERY goddamn day. they not only have a food floor (not hall, because it's an entire floor walled by restaurant counters), but there are even full sit-down restaurants scattered around. all the malls in my area practically kicked out restaurants into places out in the parking lot

Most of them suck, just the same shit you'd find in any other mall in your city or area. I do like the non-franchise Chinese or Asian places though. They cook actual food and serve you generous portions instead of the frozen shit you only get a few crumbs of at panda express or whatever.

Yeah but also Wal mart. Malls don't survive unless they have thriving anchor stores that bring in foot traffic and Wal mart killed off all those stores like Sears and Eatons and Pendleton's Fur Coats and Hats and all those other weird fuckin stores that were founded in the 1800s and served as the original anchors when the first malls were built in the 70s.

There's a reason why wal mart doesn't take over all the empty stores in all the half empty malls.

I think they're exaggerating it to make Trump look bad which is why so many ads for Joe Biden have been "He knows how to fight the virus!" but I also know plenty of /pol/esmokers who were freaking out early in the year before any talks of shutdowns, already believing it was the apocalypse. Reminds of V for Vendetta a bit.

Sad to think about how many random businesses were probably destroyed because of political fighting.

I was really hungry at the mall one day where I used to go to a hobby store so I went to the Chinese place there and got the three item plate. The Chinese woman there slathered my plate in broccoli when I asked for beef and broccoli and I got very few pieces of meat. I had to ask for some more meat. What a disappointment.

/pol/ is just useful idiocy. They thought it was the apocalypse until March, when their emperor bee said it was dumb and they all fell in line like the insects they are.

I just miss the feeling of christmas shopping around white people and being excited for video games. Our mall used to have this arcade that for 10 dollars would unlock every game unlimited for 4 hours on tuesday nights. Our recreation center used to have dance nights on the weekend with a DJ and pizza. Chain restaurants used to be friendly places to take the whole family. Traveling was exciting. Getting into trouble with your friends and getting away with it because everyone didn't have a phone or a camera in their pocket. I fucking miss not living in a clown world bros.

The pandemic has turned it into a shell of its former self. The sears is long closed, Lord and Taylor is closing, Nordstrom is gone. Tons of empty space now, but the food court is still decent.

I am convinced by my (most assuredly defective) memory, that the K-Mart (that I think still exists) in my home town, still has a Little Caesars.

I will make pilgrimage to my homeland this upcoming weekend to see if my memory severs me correct and will post sauce if it's there.
