14817601 No.14817601 [Reply] [Original]

It’s been years since I’ve posted here, I missed you all.

Decided to throw everything out of my fridge and replace it, along with my freezer after suffering a depressive episode.

Feels good to be back, fridge is added and included. Hoping everyone’s doing well in this time of history.

How come there is no meat in that fridge? Is food really that expensive in Canada?

I roughly spend $400-$600 per month for one person for groceries. Depends if I want to eat Wagyu A5 bone in Ribeyes that month with shrimp and bone marrow butter if I just want to eat your basic bitch shit from the store. Like last month I ordered $300 in sockeye salmon from Canada. Couple months ago I spent $300 on cheese from New Zealand. It just depends on how I'm feeling that time and if I want anything out of the ordinary.

I keep around $300-400 actually unless I am actually going somewhere sketchy with crowds. It's enough to cover anything that might happen, like an evacuation from my state if the nuclear plant alarms go off, or a towtruck when they don't answer the phone at Allstate or something major like credit card declined at a big purchase, which happens everytime I switch zipcodes when shopping in some cities, stupid bank protections don't always get remedied fast when you're inside of a Target and the text msgs about it only load when you're outside or some crap like that. When you tip, always tip in cash, and having only $60 would mean you just have to replace it faster into your wallet.

Also, porchetta and co, but they are in the city. There is an amazing Tea place that I recommend in the GTA, it’s non alcoholic but the owner is a complete doll and she is so down to earth. It’s a high tea experience. I bring my SO’s mother here from time to time. So wholesome.
