14817265 No.14817265 [Reply] [Original]

I will be eating out at a restaurant tonight for the first time since the onset of coronavirus 19 and I'm thinking Cheesecake Factory. Haven't been in almost 10 years

Any Cheesecake Factory recommendations? Pic related is the kind of food normally like (curry rice with pork floss)

I got their shrimp alfredo the other day. It was obnoxiously cheesy, but in a good way. I enjoyed it. Wouldn't eat it often though.

Thanks for following through with that. I'm still going to roll the dice tonight but I don't plan to eat out again for a while as I've really been liking the new cooking routines I've developed since March

The whole menu is good. They worked hard at that.

I love the thai lettuce wraps (appetizer menu item I order as a main), which has 3 delicious dipping sauces, peanut satay, tamarind cashew and something sweet chili.

Giant artichoke is awesome to split.

Santa Fe salad w/extra peanut dressing or chinese salad

Good value: Renee's special is sandwich, salad, AND soup of the day. Tuesday is the delicious tortilla soup day :P Gobble down all that free bread with it.

Umm, I wouldn't get any rice and stir fry dishes really there. They're pretty standard recipes that will be good, but great, ehh, not fancy. But bang bang chicken shrimp has been on their menu since beginning. Look for "their specialties menu" page to see what really sells the most.

Best dessert is the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake-pecan pie combo or the godiva chocolate anniversary cheesecake

No travel this past summer. I am dreaming of an austrian vacation I had a couple of years past where all that kind of food was just one meal better than the last. I wish I was at Cafe Sperl right now sitting outside and enjoying a platter sized weiner schnitzel, refreshing lemon juice squeezed over each bite.

CF is terrible. They have like a 20 page menu and there's literally nothing good on it. Why not just go some place local. Not even to support local businesses, but to have cooks who know how to cook and ingredients that don't come out of microwave bags (CF actually uses real ingredients, they're just really low quality and their recipes are garbage, even if you get lucky and they're prepared "right").
