Post ya favourite rum?
Post some good value rums?
Spiced rum a catastrophe or a calamity?

>> No.14741758

General threads are cancer and you should kill yourself. Also, Lamb's does a good amber rum.

Pic related. Best mixing rum and you get it on sale for 10€ all the time.
>Post some good value rums?
Regular Appleton is my cheap go to aged rum for mixing. I also like Plantation Dark.
>Spiced rum a catastrophe or a calamity?
I don't understand why you would buy spiced rum.

Like pic related, get it for under $20 when it's on sale. Out of curiosity, looked around on a rum rating forum and it was pretty low though, but looking at the list, it seems that rum snobs don't like sugar cane rums.

I know, I still prefer it to diplomatico reserva, which I find too sweet, and the Appleton estate 12 year old which smells a little bit of acrylate. Organic chemists never forget a smell. At the moment I am drinking pic related.

What is the sweetest rum you can get? I am really bad with bitter things, so most of my life I've been drinking imperial milk stouts and dessert wine, recently I've gotten into whisky and I am really enjoying it. What are some diabetic lvl sweet rums I should check out?

It’s nice, has a bit of a kick and you can tell that it’s been aged, you get the taste of the wooden barrels as you do with whiskey. It is drier than most; drier than the Appleton 12, but less complex in flavours.

I got into this during lockdown, buying rums that you could not get in the supermarket online, and then getting drunk in the afternoon whilst shitposting on 4Chan.

I've always found Mount Gay to be the best of the bigger brands available at standard prices.
Eclipse is the best of bottom of the market offerings, and Black Barrel and the XO are great and decently priced.
