>huge amount of food
I often wondered about the amount of food waste generated by the typical owner of an overflowing trolley.
When I buy perishables I nearly always end up throwing much of it out. Bread goes stale, milk sours, meat and cheese is opened for several days. I feel a bit guilty causing waste and its an expense.
But the waste generated by the big shoppers must be huge and I often see many of them in the shop

>Anything I'm out of for recipes, stuff like tortillas, bread crumbs, butter, etc
My family has fruit trees, a small vineyard, and a decent sized garden so I get free fruit and vegetables for about half of the year, but I'm going to have to start buying my own vegetables soon since pretty much everything is done for the season
Most of the stuff in this list takes me like 2 weeks to get through though since I just cook for myself
