The spice and herb blending shit has me perplexed too. Like are you trying to cover up the taste of bad meat? But no, everyone does it with good meat too. Then the blended spices and herbs have so many fucking things in them that there's really no discernible or identifiable flavor other than maybe the entire pantry fucked my steak. Why do people do this? I don't fucking know.

You act like food has to be eaten way and one way only like some autist. I don't know if you are poor and steak is a rare meal but I eat steak lots of ways. Sometimes I do a marinade and then cook it. Sometimes I put a spice rub on it and grill it. Sometimes I make a pan sauce. Sometimes I just use salt and pepper on it. Also the spice doesnt penetrate the meat. It still taste just like a steak only you get a taste of some spice and then the meat. Don't know man it just sounds like you are desperately trying to appear smarter than what you are and it comes off cringey and underaged as fuck. Like you have no real world and life experiences. You remind of a 15 year old who cooked his own dinner once and now calls himself a "foodie"
