It's rice, therefore carbs, therefore glucose, and it both fills you up and gives energy, and that's all it needs to do. In case you didn't notice the rest of the meal has eggs/fish/miso/veg which is more than enough nutrients.

That beats the retarded western habit of eating cereals in milk topped with sugar by a country mile.

Or an egg and small potato with sour cream, which is one of my favorite breakfasts, but it's not the quickest one. I made kind of an Italian inspired white bean chili/stew with an egg on top for late breakfast/brunch this morning. But normally I make something quite plain and drink it with coffee.

Tall glass of 2% milk and a glass of 25% apple juice, 75% water mixed. coffee for after breakfast with my magazine or newspaper.

For the miso soup I buy the miso paste and dashi from an asian supermarket. You can probably get instant miso soup sachets in basically every supermarket international section, and there's loads of recipes online, miso is extremely versatile since it's more like a standardised base than a completed dish. You can literally just throw in some seaweed or tofu or pork slices to your taste

Other than that it's rice, a fish of your choice and an omelette. You make it Japanese with the seasonings more than anything. For Salmon I marinade it in the fridge the night before in mirin, soy sauce and a little salt then grill it in the morning while the rice is cooking. For the omelette it's the same, dash in some mirin and soy sauce while making it in the pan (called Tamagoyaki in Japan) while the rice is on. Once again lots of little variations in the seasoning options available. 15 minutes at most, mostly just letting things cook.
Have fun anon.

Fuckin retarded. anywho, I've been perfecting eggs bacon and toast since I actually started cooking because of The Virus. regular bacon, none of that thick cut or fatback bullshit, cooked until simultaneously crunchy and chewy. save the bacon grease in a cup for other foods (green beans, say) but leave a little in the pan, throw in butter, two eggs sunny side up. you gotta use a spoon to ladle the butter and bacon grease onto the thick part of the whites so that it cooks through but quickly - this way the yokes retain maximum runniness. gotta have a butter pan for your toast, fridge temp butter will not melt down into it like it should. tall glass of no pulp OJ. I've mastered it at this point, it's such a perfect meal. eat it on my balcony so I can light up a camel directly after swallowing the last bite.
