I would rank America and Australia above Britain despite the cultural similarities. The colonies have a wider variety of fresher produce due to mixed terrain, and despite having a lot of crap globalised cuisine like McDonalds their modern stuff and fusion cuisine is interesting. The UK has a bit of carib and indian stuff. America has more regional variation and good Latin American influenced food, while Australia has more Asian and Greek style stuff... they use way less oil and more spices/herbs than the Brits, their cuisine is overall lighter.

If you had dinner at random American household how likely is it that it would be a good meal?

Is the average breakfast, lunch or dinner a good meal?

Yes, BBQ and Cajun food and whatever meme cuisine Americans love to push on the internet is good, but normal people don't eat that for most meals.

Does the average person anywhere on earth eat cuisine on a daily basis? Cultural food is judged by the best a household can make, not what it eats for dinner on a Tuesday. If it was, America would probably spring from solid to outright S tier, by simple virtue of how much meat is available in every meal.

>Does the average person anywhere on earth eat cuisine on a daily basis?

Depends on the country, for example, my experience of having a typical "tuesday night dinner" in Spain was that of eating a Spanish tortilla, having some Manchego cheese and some jamón onto nibble before dinner, and maybe a glass of wine.

None of that is especially fancy or difficult to get, yet it's "cuisine".

For another example, in Mexico having huevos rancheros with homemade salsa IS a normal breakfast.

If you are judging a country's cuisine by what PROFESSIONALS make in a restaurant, then every single country in the world has a great cuisine.

British food, Russian food, Canadian food, or any other cuisine commonly seen as poor can be incredible when prepared by actual professionals, which defeats the whole purpose of ranking them by what professionals make, rather than what the average person might eat.

>OP is a dumb weeb who only had American sushi and that's it.
Japanese cuisine isn't bad but it's noting special.
Sushi is good from time to time.
Ramen is decent once in a while.
Curry is pretty good.
Gyudon is alright once a month unless you're on a tight budget.
Tonkatsu is overpriced for what you get but ultimately alright. Katsudons are pretty good, tough.
Tempura on it's own is meh but tendons are good.
Everything else is a bland combination of fish, plain rice, and salty and/or vinegary sauces. Eating in a traditional washoku restaurant is peak money waste for not filling nor delicious food.
