Ok, peep this out. I've now tried the Big Jack. Overall, it does taste like a Big Mac. All they really had to do was leave the smoke flavour off the meat and you've got a patty just as bland as the McDonald's offering.

Texturally, it's a bit different. The centre bread is a full bun bottom (I guess they throw the top away), so it's much too thick. Likewise, the lettuce is shredded less finely than it is for a Big Mac. So it tastes the same, but you know it's something else.

I do not recommend.

A few weeks ago I tried the new Angus burger with pulled beef. Now there's a tasty burger with rich meaty flavour. If you find yourself at Hungry Jack's, try that out. Leave the Big Jack alone.
