They're just generally unpleasant to drink. They're bitter beyond belief without any refreshing quality. Honestly I do enjoy sipping on a rich IPA in certain situations, like bundled up in winter in front of a fire, but 9 times out of 10 I'll choose something other than an IPA if I want a beer and want to enjoy it.

I've had many. Can't name any off hand besides lagunitas, when I first tried IPAs I went through most of their line, probably like 6-8 varieties. But I've had easily over 25 different kinds.

I'm sure you can give me some suggestions on good quality ones, and I appreciate it, but I just generally prefer other beers. It's like giving me suggestions on cake, I've had red velvet and carrot and chocolate and vanilla etc. And figured out I just don't like cake very much.
